The title “Hopes and Fears” is a description of the moods after the explosions of some reactors in the Fukushima plant due to the 11th March 2011 tsunami in which once again it is questioned the safety of nuclear plants.
The earthquake sounds, the Emperor Akihito’s message of hope to Japanese people, the protest slogans by Japanese anti-nuclear activists, the alarming reports of the American and Korean televisions are here accompanied by the music coming from an improvisation session which seems to scan naturally the moods uncovered in the title.
